Meet Chris — A Lifelong Firefighter Ready to Serve
Since 2004, I’ve proudly served as a firefighter in New Jersey, answering the call to protect life and property with commitment, courage, and integrity. Over the past two decades, I’ve held key operational leadership roles—first as Rescue Captain at Aura Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 in Elk Township, and most recently as Lieutenant with the Washington Township Fire Department. These positions have deepened my respect for the fire service’s heritage and strengthened my belief in accountability and service.
Beyond the fireground, I bring over 10 years of business management experience and 20+ years in facilities maintenance. This unique blend of fire service expertise and business acumen gives me a well-rounded perspective on strategic planning, fiscal responsibility, and the logistical needs of our departments.
I am also a proud father of four and have called Washington Township my home for nearly a decade. My family and I are deeply rooted in this community, and I am passionate about ensuring its safety and prosperity for generations to come.
As a candidate for Fire Commissioner, I’m committed to:
Supporting both our dedicated volunteers and career firefighters
Advocating for efficient resource management and modern facilities
Ensuring transparency and fiscal stewardship for Washington Township taxpayers
Preserving and honoring the legacy of service that defines our fire department
I’m running because I believe our community—and those who serve it—deserve strong, experienced leadership. I would be honored to bring my skills, knowledge, and heart to the Board of Fire Commissioners.
